Three ways to arrange care at home

All seniorencare24 services are based on the same principle: a personally selected caregiver lives in the household and supports daily life around the clock. The only difference is how comprehensive and how binding the arrangement is. In professional terms, this kind of support is called everyday assistance: it covers housework, meals, shopping, accompanying you to appointments and companionship – everything that keeps daily life going, but not medical nursing. We coordinate nursing care with the local Spitex (the Swiss home nursing service).

If you’d like to get to know the care first, start with our no-obligation trial: 13 days of continuous care from CHF 3’700, with no long-term commitment. After that, care can continue without a break.

For a long-term solution, there is 24-hour care at home five days a week from CHF 5’080 per month or seven days a week from CHF 7’530 per month. Both models have a minimum term and a notice period of one month each, so they remain adaptable. You’ll find a side-by-side comparison under compare our services.

What every service includes

Whichever model you choose, the following is included:

  • Personal choice of caregiver, for example based on language and experience, with a video call before the start

  • Contract, travel and briefing organised by seniorencare24

  • Replacement guarantee if your caregiver is unavailable or if you are not happy with the person assigned

  • Emergency hotline, available around the clock

  • We check cost coverage by social insurance and your health insurer

  • Coordination with the local Spitex if medical nursing is needed

  • Fair conditions under Swiss law

This means the organisation doesn’t fall to the family. You have a say in who comes into the home, and you have one fixed point of contact throughout the assignment.

Which service suits which situation?

If the decision hasn’t been made yet, or it’s unclear how the person receiving care will react to someone new living in the household, the trial is the sensible place to start. It answers the questions that can’t be settled in advance.

If the need is likely to be long-term but family members or neighbours can help out during the day, the five-day model is often enough. Where nobody can step in, or where help is regularly needed at night, care seven days a week is the more sustainable choice.

If you’re unsure, we’ll work it out together in the initial consultation. What an assignment looks like in practice is explained under how it works, and the situations we come across most often are described under your needs.

Three: the no-obligation trial over 13 days from CHF 3’700, 24-hour care five days a week from CHF 5’080 per month, and care seven days a week from CHF 7’530 per month. In every case, the caregiver lives in the household.

With the seven-day model, care is covered continuously, including at weekends and at night, and is provided by two caregivers taking turns. With the five-day model, two days a week remain open and are covered by family members or in some other way.
