What 24-hour care costs

seniorencare24’s prices are the same throughout Switzerland, wherever you live. Care starts at CHF 5’080 a month for five days of care a week and at CHF 7’530 a month for seven days. If you would like to try it out first, you can start with the 13-day trial from CHF 3’700.

These amounts include the care itself, arranging the contract, travel and briefing, personal advice, administration and the emergency hotline. There are no additional placement fees per assignment.

Medical nursing care is not included. It is coordinated with the local Spitex (home nursing service) and billed to your health insurer, so that the health insurer’s contribution to nursing care is preserved.

What would it cost in your situation?

Five or seven days, one or two people needing care, financial support such as a helplessness allowance or supplementary benefits: we will work out what applies to you in a no-obligation initial consultation. Afterwards, you will know what amount to expect.

What’s included in the price?

  • Care from a qualified live-in caregiver
  • Travel arrangements & scheduling
  • Contract handling & administration
  • Personal support before, during and after the assignment
  • Help with legal and insurance questions
  • Regular quality checks & emergency support

Funding and support

Many of our clients receive support from:

  • Supplementary benefits (EL)
  • Helplessness allowance (IV/OASI)
  • Supplementary insurance (health insurer)
  • Foundation grants or cantonal subsidies

Especially for couples, or when individual care is wanted. The cost of a place in residential care is often the same or higher – yet it frequently includes no personal support in everyday life. Our models, by contrast, offer:

  • 1:1 care
  • A personal relationship
  • No room changes, no shift system
  • Life in familiar surroundings

Frequently asked questions about costs

From CHF 5’080 a month for five days of care a week and from CHF 7’530 a month for seven days. Prices are the same throughout Switzerland. The 13-day trial starts at CHF 3’700.

Included are the care itself, arranging the contract, travel and briefing, advice, administration and the emergency hotline. Not included is medical nursing care, which is coordinated with Spitex and billed to your health insurer.

Depending on your situation, a helplessness allowance, supplementary benefits or supplementary insurance may contribute. Whether they do, and how much, depends on each body’s eligibility criteria. We clarify cost coverage together with you and help with the applications.

Often, yes. A place in a care home costs on average CHF 8’000 to 12’000 a month, of which around two thirds, roughly CHF 6’900, is borne by residents themselves (source: Federal Statistical Office and Curaviva). For couples the difference is greater, because two places have to be paid for in a care home.

The minimum term is one month, and the notice period is also one month. This means the care can be adjusted from month to month.
