Caregiver accommodation

Accommodation for
24-hour care at home.

For our caregivers to carry out their work as well as possible, suitable living arrangements are essential. During their assignment, the caregiver lives in the household of the person being cared for. A separate room with a bed is therefore a requirement, so that both sides can maintain their privacy.

What is needed for care to work well:

As part of the knechtcare group, we draw on many years of experience in nursing and care at home. Our standards are based on people’s needs – not on what is easy to administer.

  • A separate room with a bed: for the caregiver, so they have somewhere to retreat to and rest.
  • Shared use of bathroom and kitchen: the caregiver shares the existing bathroom facilities and kitchen with the person being cared for.
  • No structural alterations required: the existing home does not need to be adapted or converted.

Sharing everyday life

The caregiver does not just provide support with everyday tasks, but often becomes part of daily life. Shared meals and activities, whether at home or out on walks, promote wellbeing and build trust.
